         (b) Why do we need a DTD (Document Type Definiton) for an XML document ? Explain with suitable example. 10

        (b) What do you mean by an event ? How event handling is done in Java Script? 7
        (c) What do you understand by scope and lifetime of variables in Java ? Explain with the help of program code. 7
